Warranty Information

A Littmann stethoscope is a lifetime investment. Beyond the liberal warranty policy, 3M has a lifetime refurbishment program that is unsurpassed in the industry.

3M Service Center repair is available to U.S. customers only. Outside of the U.S., please contact your local 3M subsidiary for additional information.

Except in cases of obvious abuse or accidental damage, or if a material or manufacturing defect is discovered during the warranty period, repairs will be made without charge upon return of the instrument to 3M. Otherwise the warranty periods are as listed.

• The Littmann Master Cardiology stethoscope is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of seven years from the date of purchase.
• The Littmann Cardiology III stethoscope is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of five years from the date of purchase.
• The Littmann Master Classic II, Classic II SE, Classic II Pediatric, Classic II Infant, and all specialty stethoscopes (Littmann Teaching and Anesthescope), are warranted against any defects in material and workmanship for a period of three years from the date of purchase.
• The Littmann Select and Lightweight stethoscopes are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase.
